New Blog

Hey Everyone!!

So I have good news and a little sad news. I am moving my blog away from blogspot.... But it will now be hosted directly on my website! Even better news is that I was able to upload this entire blog there! I'll be leaving this blog here, (Can't bring myself to take it down). Besides it's nice to have a backup of all the entries over the last couple years. So anywho, take a look and don't forget to bookmark my new blog! There's one new post there already!

Grungy Wet look with Kelly: South Jersey Boudoir

If you follow me on facebook, you've probably seen the sneak peaks i've been posting of a super sexy shower shoot. Not all women are interested in this grungy style, but it's one of my favorite to photograph and one I would love to do more of! Today i'll introduce you to Kelly, the woman in those sneak peaks! I met Kelly at the Salon Fabrojae makeup event that I did back in September and was so excited when she called to come in for a full session!

Before I post photos, I have to say that Kelly has the most stunning eyes. You'll see below - but what is amazing is that I didn't touch those eyes. No photoshop. They really are that white and the color really does glow that much. Between those eyes and her long, dark, sultry hair, she's got the perfect rocker vixen look. We did a few looks that were soft before going into the darker looks, but the darker definitely fit her perfectly!!

Glamour Photography & Makeup Event w/Salon Fabrojae in Vineland, NJ

I wanted to share an event I did a couple months ago with Salon Fabrojae. First of all, I wanted to say that I love this place! The people that work there have been so wonderful to collaborate with and are very talented!

One of my brides, Raina, ( post soon of her wedding images!) works their as well and does fantastic hair and makeup. (I'll also share a makeup test I did with her soon, too!). One of the owner's, Jaime, reached out to me after seeing the imagery I did for Raina's wedding and portfolio and we've been building a relationship since!

Anyone that knows me knows that I am scared to death to get my hair cut. (I had the absolute worst haircut in my life my sophomore year of high school. It was nearly a mullet.) After meeting them, I decided it was time to go ahead and just do it. When I got there I was so nervous I was actually shaking, (a typical reaction when the thought of cutting my hair comes into play.) They were immediately there to make sure I was comfortable and tried to help me relax. Ashley was the stylist who cut my hair and she did a wonderful job, asking before taking any length that I might be uncomfortable with.

Long story short, they have won my trust =D I'll post the haircut at the end of this post for anyone that's interested ^^;

So here's the photos from the event!

50s and Rockin' in

Meet Madeline - She's one of my favorite clients. For one, she's absolutely beautiful and two, her heart is made of gold. She's always keeping in touch, emailing me about the amazing places she travels to.

She came in for a fun session for herself - a mix of Boudoir, Glamour and Fashion - at my studio in southern New Jersey. She brought the most amazing wardrobe with her (A Fashion photographer's dream!)  During the shoot, she insisted that my makeup artist do a mini shoot with some of her wardrobe (those shoes anyone?? The MUA felt so guilty, hehe).

She later submitted my images and did some stuff on a talk show on TV. (I forget which show =x)

This album was awarded a blue ribbon from the Guild of Professional Photographers of Delaware Valley at the year end competition in 2011. I'd say it's about time I shared this amazing album!

Guess it just shows women get better with age ;) You don't have to be a 20 something to have absolutely stunning images taken!
